Cheapest Ramen I've Tried - Yatai Yakitori Ramen

Yatai Yakitori Ramen is a Ramen bar in upper Antipolo. I just found the most affordable ramen on my reach in Antipolo Area! This ramen bar is known for its affordable ramen and gyoza. How affordable? you can get a bowl of ramen for just P60! No wonder why their got queuing customers and full seats during dinner.

Yatai Yakitori Ramen has limited seats. Opens Mondays until Saturdays 4PM until 2AM. However, don't arrive too late, they have limited ingredients as they also accept take aways.

Here's their menu. They offer Ramen in 3 sizes and 4 flavors (? 4 including what I ordered). I ordered Gyoza and Konbata Chasumen Superbowl (which is on their other menu).

The Dimsum Place - Greenhills Annapolis

I've been into several Chinese diner before and if ever you've tried Chinese food and like that distinct taste, for sure there's a craving that you always like to try it again.

March 2017, I'm blessed to be part of the Zomato Food Meet Up and try this branch of The Dimsum Place in Greenhills Annapolis. The Dimsum Place is the sister company of King Bee and Xilaimen, and so some main dish tastes really the same for me. The Dimsum Place, based on the name serves different kinds of dimsum all day and other Chinese Pastries, Steam Rice Bowls, Rice Plates, Noodle Soup, Congee, Desserts and more!

Nearest landmark if you're going here is nearby Santolan MRT and Greenhills Annapolis, check out google map here (link). They also offer free parking to customers.

Part of my goals this 2017 is to post different business and establishment to promote my province: Rizal.

One of the dining places I love going back is this Japanese Restaurant called Misaki Kitchen located in upper Antipolo, Rizal.

The place started last July 2016, and the humble cozy place can accommodate 12pax, the place accepts reservations and Take Out. Expect crowd to arrive at 7PM.

Enjoy your Japanese cravings like Ramen, Katsu and Rolls partnered with this chili oil and powder.

Manang's Chicken SM San Mateo

We went to SM San Mateo for a mini food crawl last year, and found a hidden CHICKEN gem located at 3F of the mall. I thought its going to be another normal chicken meal for me but it's not.
The taste, crunchiness and juiciness differs from other chains but I believe that Manang's Chicken can compete other chicken food chains.

Mama Chit's Coffee House

Not your ordinary fancy fancy coffee house. Few steps if you're coming from few Our Lady of the Abandoned Church. We stopped here when we're about to look for the original puto of Marikina - the brown one!

The interiors were all collectibles and family portraits. Most stuff are older than most of us for sure :p

With a touch of vintage and rustic designs, I'm feeling like I want a photo op to their display items. Well honestly, I might only get a chance to see these things here and not anywhere else.

The place so helps yourself. Self-service with the water, ice, pitcher, spoons etc would be easier if its also available nearby their outdoor seating. I find it uncomfortable to always going back to their cashier area where their stuff are located.

Their Halo-Halo special worth P80 is good for sharing and we love it among the other things we ordered.

The pesto is okay but my sister said she like our mother's home made pesto.

Hungarian Sandwich quite big, taste is somewhat ordinary for me.

The food is quite pricey for me thinking about the food taste (food is okay but nothing extra ordinary) and 'service' we get or are we paying for an entrance fee to see these memorabilia? eh.You would love the place if you're into their vintage collections.

Beeffalo by Hotrocks in Antipolo

Beeffalo by Hotrocks in Marikina was our next target last year but when the official facebook page of Beeffalo announced that they're going to open a new branch in Antipolo, we decided to wait for their newest branch instead

If you want to look for good food, look for it.

How to locate the place if you're already inside Antipolo Proper: Some landmarks that might help you would be Antipolo Doctors Hospital. & SM Hypermarket nearby Shopwise and Lores Homes. Beeffalo itself is just infront of Antipolo Doctors Hospital.

Happy 2nd Work Anniversary at Banapple Pies & Cheesecakes

Last January 20, 2016, we celebrated out 2nd work anniversary together with my batchmates at Banapple, Robinson's Galleria, Ortigas. We're choosy when it comes to a place where we can eat altogether coz Alyanna is a pescetarian (haha! a person who does not eat meat but does eat fish)

It's always a good place to go with a small group of friends like us! I've also tried Katipunan branch last Christmas and with the same thing, the place is small. However, both branches serve generous plates and we find it affordable too! :D
My favorite: Hickory Smoked BBQ Ribs and Banoffee Pie.

Cake Draft Cafe, Antipolo

There's a newly opened cafe in Antipolo called Cake Draft Cafe. They officially open today November 20, 2015, and had a cafe blessing at 10 am. Conveniently located in town, I can easily drop by and satisfy my cafe needs whenever I like!

Landmark: I'm glad that this cafe opened nearby the Antipolo Cathedral. It's actually just beside Novo, on the 2F of HBC, Red Ribbon, Twinkle Music and Sports, Infront of 7-11 (Simbahan)

I'm lucky to meet the partners behind the cafe named Chef Clyden San Pedro and Chef Cathrina Sarmiento.
I asked them why it is named Cake Draft Cafe? It was all because of the subject drafting.
Drafting or technical drawing is one of Chef Clyden's favorite subject which he excel and most of his work looks like buildings in a cake form. He constructs cakes in a well-disciplined manner. He also owns a lifestyle pastry school in Project 2, Quezon City and also supplies various cafe and coffee shops. Chef Cathrina is responsible in managing the branch and oversee the activities of the business. These chefs draft your flavors to life!

I recommend to eat here than their other Chevy Burger branches because of the bigger open space. I can still breathe even if Chevy Burger Antipolo was jump packed with customers. It feels a lot more comfortable because of the cozy ambiance. I can feel I can still stay for a chitchat unlike the other branches. People like their food but not their place because it was too small, but guys, try their Antipolo Branch, it's way better if you're near to the area :)

We've tried their branch in Lamuan, Marikina and we love their Chevy Belly, Macho Nachos, Fries and Iced Tea. This time, we love it even more. It's just located in Antipolo which was my hometown.

The Voyager's Burger, Antipolo City

My hometown, Antipolo City, was known for Suman and Kasoy, Hinulugang Taktak and the cathedral, Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. Last March 21, 2015, I saw a newly opened burger restaurant named after the parish name: The Voyager's Burger. They also have a promo that time with buy 1 take 1 for their classic burger. The store can occupy 32 customers (8 tables).

Siena's Cafe (Sitio Bayugo Buliran Road, Antipolo)

Just recently, we got a simple light dinner in a newly opened cafe (new branch): Siena's Cafe located in Sitio Bayugo Buliran Road, Antipolo. Before they only have Siena's Gathering Hall and extended their business into a small cafe on the same location.

UPDATE: More than a year after my last visit, I give it a chance again.

It's just 3-5 minute walk from my area. I have no issues about the location of this cafe :p
Other people might have a difficulty finding the place, but I'll place a map below.
For commuters, once you're already in Antipolo Cathedral Proper, Look for BETA tricycle terminal nearby 'Pasalubong Center', ask them to take you to Siena's (just outside of Bermuda Subd.)

No problems with the ambiance. We arrived here around 7:30 PM February 14, 2015.
The place was big enough for around 50 pax inside the cafe and there's a lot of customers that night celebrating Heart's Day.

That was their motto. I would definitely agree about that, I have attended an event inside Siena's Gathering Hall and they really serve quality food. Special courses are reasonable priced, combo meals, I find them higher than what of expected when served. Check out our combo meal orders worth P200 P150 each.

Prima Blend : My favorite cake shop

I’d like to share my favorite local cake shop in San Mateo, Rizal - Primablend which was established by Mrs. Iluminada San Juan.

This bakeshop has become an institution in San Mateo.

It looked like my grade school canteen when you check it inside.
They offer quality food and everything is affordable!

My big time favorites:

• Choco Shake
• Choco Roll
• Hamburger with Cheese
• Macaroni

Most buyers always check for their cupcakes, leche flan, halo halo and Sans Rival Cake. If you can try their Sans Rival cake, you may notice that its not so sweet but there’s something inside it. They also have bigger cakes for events such as birthday and wedding cakes.

Ordered Choco Roll for my college friends get together. They all agreed it tastes good and sweet :”>

Even though the place doesn’t have air condition, I could still enjoy the food.

I wish that Primablend could expand their business. I’m pretty sure more people would love their pastries and other products as well.
