How to spot fake Real Techniques Brushes

HOW TO SPOT THE FAKE SERIES

Brush set bargains everywhere in Divisoria. It's like our local eBay slash Ali express for PH's nearby Asian Countries mostly from China goodies. The place was able to copy all kinds of Real Technique brushes as well as all their collections. But still, differences are still noticeable with the brushes. For this post, I bought some brushes genuine and some replica ones. I currently have 1 set of a real techniques brush set. These would be the brushes I'll be discussing:

GENUINE: Sam's Pick Collection
FAKE: RT Powder & Blush Brush

Check out the differences on how you can spot the fake Real Technique Brushes from the genuine ones.

Paddle Makeup Brush from Divisoria

Makeup Paddle Brush
I was roaming along the aisle of 999 Mall in Divisoria, looking for a paddle makeup brush. Luckily I found this oval shaped paddle brush BUT with a brand printed Anastasia Beverly Hills on its handle.

Apparently, there's currently no available Oval Paddle Makeup Brush when I checked ABH's official website. It's quite similar to MAC Oval 6 Brush [link] from the MAC Masterclass Brushes. It might be an OEM for MAC Oval 6 but they printed ABH instead!

If you're not aware, Divisoria is the biggest and cheapest shopping district in the city of Manila. From garments, textiles, cooking ingredients, fruits, toys, bags and more!

Buy in wholesale to get more discounts. Haggle and be extra careful with your belongings because the place is not as safe as another shopping district. I've been going to this place for almost 7 years and counting so maybe I already know the drill in the place. ^_^
Products are usually sold cheap, MOST items here are replicas to well known original brands. Not all items are replicas, there's also trustworthy brands in the place. You just really need to find them.

MeNow Kissproof Soft Lipstick (Part 1)

You might heard of Menow products if you're following me on Instagram. I mentioned my haul about it last December and now is my chance to post it here. Now I got these Menow Kissproof Soft Lipsticks which I personally love than MeNow Generation II Long Lasting Lip Gloss [review]

Looking for the seller of this lip crayons are hard last December. Stocks are running out to all online sellers. I even haunt it along streets of Divisoria (well, I was able to check them inside the mall :p)

Just because I feel uncomfortably tacky with their MeNow Gen II, I tried this Soft Lipstick first.
I got several shades: 9, 13, 5, 12, 11, 15, 16 (swatches will be posted here)
I also have 2, 6, 14, 17, 18 to be posted soon! - same blog post.
Check out the difference when swatched on paper and my sister's back arm ^_^

It's funny it's printed with the text Liquid Lipstick while it's not :))

These Soft Lipsticks are:
  • Dry matte
  • Longetivity: Hit or miss, lighter shades doesn't last longer than darker ones
  • Reapplication: I had to remove the excess outlines before reapplying. When apply another layer, it would cake and flake up. No No No
  • I remove it using J&J Baby Oil or Petroleum Jelly instead of makeup removers. Don't forget to coat the full lips with the remover for few minutes before wiping off.
  • It's honestly hard to swatch, I had to apply lipscrub often for it to show decent on photos.
  • Color stands out on photos specially vivid ones!
  • It's not retractable ladies, get your lippy sharpener always :)

Where to buy Gundam inside 168 Mall, Divisoria?

I have a brother and a bf who loves Gundam, I just stare at them building their kit without even trying to get closer to them, I might just step on those tiny parts which might start WW3. Kits are way cheaper in Japan, compare to kits sold here in the Philippines. It's really an expensive hobby for men (maybe some women too),

November 19, 2015, me and my guy planned to visit Divisoria for a little shopping and to check prices prior to the real shopping. What does that mean? we just canvass prices of those gifts we think we can give to our godchildren and cousins. He also would like to look for a store in 168 mall in Divisoria that sells Gundam Kits. I decided to post it here on my blog since we really had a hard time locating the store, I think it might just be helpful to you if you (instead of buying it to a middleman reseller - online seller), if you prefer to buy a bootleg kit for yourself or give it as a gift to someone else, however, it still up to you :)

Look at these bootleg kits! Most of these are from Dragon Momoko, Daban, & TT Hongli.
