THE ORDINARY Squalane Cleanser Review

I bought this cleanser when I saw that it removes makeup + gentle on skin + it's from my favorite Western brand: The Ordinary. Ingredients wise, Squalane is the first from the list. Squalane is a great moisture ingredient and works like a hydrator that’s found naturally in the skin, helping to prevent loss of moisture and boost suppleness. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀
I have used this cleanser to remove my full makeup, so I didn't use any makeup remover, just the cleanser. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀

HOW TO USE
Rub the cleanser in your palms to warm it until it melts into an oil. Massage into dry skin, then rinse with warm water.

So this cream cleanser works like a cleansing oil but in a non-foaming cream form! It removed my <waterproof> mascara and eyeliner without stinging my eyes. For my waterproof lipstick - it does leave like 10% on the edge and lip lines, some lipsticks and lip stains got all wiped.

I feel like I can just bring this on travels and forget the baggy micellar water, oil-based makeup removers, cleansing balms, and cleansing oils. No tight feeling, no stripping just clean, soft and hydrated. If you prefer cleansers that give the squeaky clean, you can skip this one.

Downside maybe is the availability and the size.

You have to find resellers online or if you have relatives/friends coming from US/Canada/Korea. 

50ml is okay but I look forward to a bigger size because I'll surely repurchase this! If I'll use it every day, I might run out easily. My perfect cleanser + makeup remover in one!

Nacific Fresh Herb Cleansing Oil REVIEW

I'm someone who double cleanses at night - ALWAYS and cleansing oils/balms is my must have - it's good for the skin and lasts for months.

It comes in a transparent white pump bottle and a pump lock for travel. I often use 2-3 pumps enough to remove my everyday face makeup.

Texture + Application:
I can't help but to compare it to my old cleansing oil - Nacific cleansing oil consistency is like thin runny water. Must be careful when pumping to dry hands or it may spill out.

I often rub it with my both hands to heat them up then massage to face. Then emulsify with water by either washing face with water or using a wet towel to remove the cleansing oil. It cleanses really well and even removed my waterproof lipstick!

Face feels clean, moisturized and smells jasmine! No breakouts for more than 4 weeks of using it. Nacific always has great oil ingredients and for this cleansing oil:

• Jojoba seed oil - it helps in balancing the skin's oil and water level and helps in fighting skin blemishes
• Olive oil - it clarifies and moisturizes the skin
• Camellia oil - a rich in a fatty acid ingredient - nongreasy

I recommend to everyone who loves hydrating oil cleanser.

A. Stop Clear Toner Review

I'm someone who forgot to take care of my back coz it's something I can't see as often as my face.
Sharing this toner now not only for the face but also for the body! Did I mention I have bacne since high school?

 I've read positive reviews about this toner and it's called A. Stop Clear Toner created for acne prone skin. It contains  AHA to exfoliate the skin and Propolis extract to soothe the skin.
The product claims that based on their test 80% of the comedone numbers decreased, 90% provides a soothing effect and absolutely no irritation.

What I didn't expect about it was - it doesn't come in a box. All Korean products that I have come in a box but I'm not worried since it was sealed and no leaks at all when it arrived.

Blue bottle, clear toner. The spray nozzle dispersed wide enough to cover my parts off my back. Packaging details are in Korean.

it also affects the reddish skin area and pimples immediately and got an antibacterial effect. I personally like the fresh scent of this toner.

Here's the 2-week progress of my back acne. I realized that those small bumps got lessened as well.

Solved Skincare Coconut Oil Cleansing Pads

Removing makeup is one the best thing to go when I got home. Cleansing is the most enjoyable part of my skincare routine. I thought these pads are normal VCO or the virgin coconut oil which is also famous here in the Philippines for many uses. I said that because of the noticeable smell of the VCO.

I'M FROM Mugwort Mask Review

I got a little gift from Wishtrend last month, this was the I'm From Mugwort Mask in mini tubes. The normal size was in 110g tubs, I got 3 x 30g tubes to test out.

The I'm From Mugwort Mask are wash off masks with visible herbs as you can notice on my photos. It claims to calm and sooth the skin with its mild gel formulation. The mugwort/tea tree ingredient is a natural korean herb that is known for its detoxing, soothing and cleansing properties.

Product Thoughts:

• These Mugwort leaves are quite big if to be used for the face. If you have sensitive skin maybe consider patch testing first. It may be used for the body as well!
• The scent is mild and smells like mild tea tree
• Soft texture and easy to apply and wash off
• It provides me a cooling and refreshing feel
• Leaves my face well hydrated after washing off the mask~

I love using it when I got inflamed skin and got some nasty pimples. I'll surely purchase it <3 I just hope this mask will be sold in the tube form.

Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer

Althea Korea one of my favorite shopping site for Asian brands - now created their own line of skincare and cosmetics. One of the newest from their line is the Althea Flawless Creamy Concealer.

Product claims this concealer can cover panda eyes, spots, and other blemishes. The brand mentioned that it contains Aquaxyl to keep the skin smooth and moisturized. Aquaxyl was derived from birch tree sap, this extract creates a moisture barrier on the skin and prevents dehydration.

This concealer was available in 4 shades. I purchased the shade #02 Ginger which I think could be the best match for my under eye area.

One of the inexpensive brands I find in the market that offers a wide selection of foundation shades. I can see most foundations in the beauty section here in the Philippines too light for most Filipina Skin tone but for this variant, I find a dark shade fit for some morenas.

Thoughts:
The tub was filled with Bulgarian Rose Water that a great ingredient which helps moisturize skin. I use it not only under eyes but all over my face! It comes with a spatula which I find very helpful in getting the pieces of the patch. There are also times wherein the essence turned into a jelly residue - I'm not pretty sure what is the reason behind this. I love using it when refrigerated - such a great stuff for tired eyes. I can also have it dissolved on hot water and use as essence! It does help to brighten my under eye but not in a permanent way because of my sleeping schedule and irregular work shifts.
Overall, I love this eye patch!

The set comes in 3 shades:

✨ Recommended if you're looking for hard to remove lip tints, but consider exfoliating iif you have dry lips like mine.

My photo below for frosty pink and candy cane looks similar because I have applied candy cane first and it stained my lips already. I have to apply powder and concealer to give a little justice for frosty pink.

I think it's an affordable and nice gift for your BFFs this coming holidays. It might get out of stock as well very soon so better get a set one now :D

Whenever I'm staying in AC: it doesn't feel greasy or sticky but its the reverse when I'm staying outdoors. It does not dry matte for me, but more of semi dewy moisturized skin. I have combination-dry skin btw and Klairs UV Essence works under my current foundation too.

Silkygirl BB Cushion Review

I often rotate my foundations, from the liquid foundations to concealers to BB Creams then cushions. As for cushions, I'm lucky to receive these Silkygirl Magic BB Cushion from Silkygirl Philippines.

It contains 15g of a foundation.

I already assumed that these are like my other cushions which might need some rework/adjustments (meaning I have to use another darker shade to contour) since most cushions, even their darkest shades were 2 to 3 tones lighter for me considering I'm NC25 in MAC.

This has been my savior during my last week beach trip and whenever I take public transportation. Glad I didn't react to this face mist and I'm really enjoying using it. It refreshes my face and body - I often spray to my sunburnt arms because someone here loves snorkeling at lunch time, it felt cooler after spraying that lessens the discomfort (if you get what I mean). When using to face, It does rehydrate my skin and looking moist. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It comes with a clear spray bottle that I find sturdy because I had it inside my check-in baggage from my last week trip. I also tried it on my hand carry and it doesn't leak at all! Its packaging comes in a sealed vacuum container that reassures minimum contact with air and suppresses oxidation. Minimal tea tree scent to almost nothing.
