This little wart doesn't hurt unless I'm trying to remove it with nail cutter - yeah some people told me I can remove it using nail cutter - but it grows again after days. They say it might be removed as by its own one day (ONE DAY? When would be that day?).
I've tried different things to remove it aside from the nail cutter, searched for different wart treatments, I previously tried options I can try at home by myself like duct tape, aloe vera gel, castor oil, garlic, apple cider vinegar, Fungisol, Tea tree oil and I forgot the rest. Some of them worked overnight but not permanent at all. I started to use a band-aid to cover my wart whenever I go out. I don't also like anyone to get what I have that time. Good thing, I noticed that it didn't spread in our household and to my own body as well. I just hate this wart on my hand
Months before I write this post, my guy gave me this Mediplast Salicylic Acid plaster and I thought it's just a normal plaster I use everyday. That time I'm tired of trying so many options and starting to save up money for laser treatment, I still gave this little box a chance.
This box contains 6 plasters and currently costs Php 82 (or 1.7 USD) I'm a bit shocked to know the price knowing the price of regular band aids. He told me salicylic acid adds the price and the plaster design itself.
I have tried this for 3 days, I didn't follow the directions as I remove my plaster during bath time. the wart itself was peeled off together with the salicylic side of the plaster!

I'm amazed that it didn't make any peel off on my non-wart skin area, it literally removed that wart bump only.

Con: Probably the area where the wart was removed was a bit lighter than my normal skin color. Area surrounding the wart also looks darker. Expect a discoloration on skin tone depending on your wart size and condition.

Ganyan na rin po kalaki yun, luckily nadaan KO sa pag nanail cutter haha hanggang sa dumugo at tuluyan na pong nawala. I know it was kinda gross and Hindi adviseable kasi nga nmn baka lalong mainfect at kumalat pa..

ReplyDeleteYour blog was very informative. It is safer than using nail cutter (to prevent infection) I'm using nail cutter before for removing warts on my feet area. Now I know the safer and effective way to take it away in a safer way. Thanks for this info Ms. Glenda! Will be here to support you =)

ReplyDeleteHi po, namuti din po yung sa warts ko before po sya tumigas and matanggal
DeletePlease let me know po if nag work
i just used it 2 days ago. i didn't get it wet (i used plastic gloves) so ngayon ko palang tinanggal. i need help. ilalagay ko sya ulit pero natatakot ako for the surrounding skin na madadamay sa medicated patch kasi maliit lang yung wart kesa sa plaster. pero nakita ko nawala yung half nung wart. kaso andito pa rin sya 2 days na nakababad.
ReplyDeleteI just continue to use it since it helped drying out the wart. :) hopefully matanggal na yan :)
