Part of the wedding preparation is to ready your Marriage License. It took me several days to check out the requirements for Church Wedding but of course, prior to that, you have to get your license first from the local civil registrar. Our wedding is scheduled for December 2020 and 3 months before December we'll start to get our requirements. Pandemic was a challenge for those who are getting married by the year 2020 (hopefully easier for 2021 weddings). Since I can't travel to the local civil registrar in Antipolo, I asked the latest requirements on their Facebook page.

Requirements:
Where a marriage license is required, each of the contracting parties shall file a separate sworn application for such license with the proper local civil registrar of the place where either or both of the contracting parties reside. The local civil registrar concerned enters all applications for a marriage license in registry books files strictly in the order of receipt. When the license is issued, the same shall b valid in any part of the Philippines for a period of 120 days from the date of issuance, and shall be deemed automatically canceled after the expiration date even if the contracting parties have not made use of the license
- Individuals with the legal capacity to marry (Single, widow/widower, annulled)
- Duly accomplished application for Marriage License
- Birth and Baptismal Certificates of Contracting Parties
- ID Picture (1x1 or 2x2 inches)
- CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage
- For 18-24 years old, Pre-Marriage Counselling Certificate
- For 18-20 years old - consent and appearance of both father and mother / surviving parent/guardian in the order mentioned
- For 21-24 years old - advice and appearance of father/mother or guardian
- Decree of Annulment. if annulled
- Certificate of Finality, if annulled
- Annotated Certificate of Marriage, if annulled
- Decree of Divorce, if applicable
- Death Certificate of Spouse, if widow/widower
- Foreigner - Legal Capacity to Marry from the country of citizenship
- Photocopy of Passport for Foreigner
